So, you do not want widgets, and notification menu? Or are you just bored? :D Coz making an iOS clone would mean taking out features we do have. I also suggest miui, the closest you CAN get right now. But who knows... maybe you'll find someone who would see something in your request. Cheers!

I'm still not sure what you mean.

MIUI looks very similar to iOS and there's a 4.1.2 port of MIUI right here on this forum.

Ah, I see.

Unfortunately JoyOS doesn't seem to exist on 4.x in any form, and I very seriously doubt they released the source - we'd need that to port it to 4.x.

Isn't it supposed to look like iOS, so the looks wouldn't change much if you upgrade it to JB.. :P If you look joyos up, you'll notice that the website doesn't exist anymore (it used to be http://www.joyos.cn), so there's not going to be a new version of that rom. If anyone were to make a new version it would need to be from scratch. But have you given MIUI a try now? There are several themes that make it look even more like iOS (like this one that looks pretty nice http://droidviews.com/2012/iphone-5-theme-for-miui-v4jb-translated/#). I never used MIUI, but it should work.

Look mate, multiple people have explained to you that it's not going to happen. I'm sorry, just use one of the existing ROMs.

If you'd prefer iOS over Android, means you want less actually :D

It takes a lot of effort to create a ROM, or port it. No one is going to do it for you, YOU need to do it yourself. Stop being so lazy

Hah, good thing Tapatalk doesn't show the large text, or my reply to that post may not have been as civil as it was. :P

Since apparently you were too lazy to try installing MIUI and downloading an iPhone theme, I tried it for you. Out of personal interest because I've never used a MIUI rom before. This is as close to iOS you're going to get, and it's Android 4.1. The rom's a bit unstable though (had some wifi-issues) and the only available languages are Chinese, English or Russian.

Screenshot:

post-950816-0-77482300-1359286614_thumb.

Steps

  • You need a system partition bigger than 200MB. I only had 200MB and there wasn't sufficient space for gapps (like the Play Store)
  • Install this rom (MIUI 2.12.7 by zukriaksah): http://www.modaco.co...ui-jb-412-2127/
  • Install gapps (CFX2 stripped gapps by tilal, I had issues with newer gapps): http://goo.im/devs/t...x2-stripped.zip
  • Install the proximity sensor fix (by C3C0 look it up in the MIUI thread, its the 3rd post or something)
  • Reboot (might take a while). When it's booted connect to your wifi network. I had issues when I postponed this, had to reflash the rom.
  • Download this theme (by Malanore): http://www.mediafire...s7nm9f29821nflp
  • Connect your phone to your pc and create these folders in your sdcard: MIUI\theme (so theme is in MIUI) and copy the .mtz theme you downloaded in the previous step
  • Open Themes on your front page, the theme iOS6 should appear after a while, select it and let it apply.
  • If you really want it look like iOS6, get one of these wallpapers :) http://droidviews.co...droid-idevices/

I used C3C0's latest gapps first (for ParanoidAndroid JB) and with those were small enough for a system partition of 200MB but made the overall rom unstable, so that's why you need tilal's and a big system partition.

You're not getting closer to iOS than this, even the Play Store has an App Store icon, horrible :P. The notification screen isn't exactly themed .. But it's superior so why bother :P.

If you want the rom to more developed, kindly go ask that in the MIUI thread. If he ports C3C0's latest changes of this month that's already a big step forward.

Now time to get this horrible creation off my phone :D. (And I mean the iOS theme is horrible, not MIUI, that looks neat but I wish it supported Dutch. Can't have it in English for my mum unfortunately).
