[DEV][ROM][2014-06-16] CyanogenMod 10 (Continuation of KonstaT's work)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

This is a continuation of KonstaT's fantastic work with CM10. All the same things as written there also apply here. In particular, constructive discussion is welcome, whining and bitching is not.

How to install:

Make sure that the system partition is at least 160 MB in size and that you're on gen2. If you have used another ROM before, backup your personal data and do a factory reset. If you are just upgrading from an earlier build, this is not required. Boot to recovery and flash main zip and gapps zip afterwards.

Good to see this, was looking forward to a updated CM10 before buggy 10.1 got "stable". Can we post logcats here if we encounter any problems?

Greate news daemond. For me, cm 10 was the best rom. I tried cm10.1 but I had RR every 2 hours in the last 2 days and I restored my cm10 backup.

I look forward for any updates made by you.

10x

Sure, but please don't post huge logs inline. :)

Yeah, Mediafire seems to be more legit and faster than most other hosts... I guess I'll have to register.

Edit: I uploaded it to Mediafire and replaced the link.

If you're talking about V-Sync, it's only possible with 3.x kernel. (If someone ever ports it successfully to the blade.)

Yes 96frozen, I know.

I'm asking if anyone will try or have tried a successfully 3.x kernel port for Blade.

I know the 3.x kernel don't bring nothing new than the kernel we have, but will fix the V-Sync and perhaps something more, or not.

I would suggest to make a post of how to compile CM10 since KonstaT's thread will be far away into the "lost forums"
