Thats bad news indeed.

But, as it always goes, there are some

great news on the other side!

It seems that we dont have to go

downgrade-upgrade road anymore

to use gb roms.

Check the Cm7 Miui topic here on Modaco.

A lot of chinese gb roms are out there

to try now without much hussle B-)

Just an update on the APN issue I (and others) had with this ROM. Having identified my old SIM card as the problem I got 3UK to change it for a new one. Unfortunately the problem still exists. Great ROM but unfortunately it is useless for me personally without mobile data.

You need a 64k sim card, urs is most likely a 128k one thats why it doesnt work.

Hi guys, I 've instaled the V22 and returned already to V20 cause there are many things in Chinese even after deleting the chinestuff. The new UI is awesome and some other litle things that make the difference between them, but the V20 is the most stable one.

Well since this topic is abandoned (since my last post´s ) I'm going to spice things a little bit. Here are my resultes with V20 with kernel from Paul Milbank (Kernel for official ICS roms).

Now I`m testing a modded Baidu rom20 release

with a nice memory management.

It gets near CM7`s free memory scores.

Edit:

Looses ram after a while. :(

Hey, "is there anybody out there "???

Experimenting another rom, this one had some issues that no one knows how to solve them... At least without any kind of answers.

God rom but without proper monitoring, of course being a rom "foreign" it becomes quite understandable.

Besides that it's an excellent rom.

i'm still using the official v2 (beta v19), and was waiting for the official v3... but since baidu dropped the official support, i guess i'll switch to the next beta v23 (march 11th) - i'll make a new thread with the english repack

I`ve found two better roms to play with - Dazzo`s CM10r6 and CMiui GB on 2030bb.

If Baidu makes a better one I`ll Be Back :D

Still feel Baidu's ROM provides a breath of fresh air to G300. Switched to v20 from Stock+ today (thanks dakok for releasing it here). Waiting for the next English release from p0cHa.

You should try Atomic GB from Tillaz on 2030 baseband (if you dont want to go to 109808bb).

Check the end of that topic ;)

It needs minor editing, don`t flash it as it is. :)

Thanks Dakok :)

So, what editings are required? And what are the improvements?

Edit: Tried G-translate, seems quite a lot of enhancements and fixes.

i made a new thread with my beta v23 repack, would you mind not renaming your thread anymore dakok, so as not to confuse people (i already linked to yours from mine)...

this version has V6 SuperCharger and KickAssKernel scripts added by default (by the developers), so I guess it is now a "performance" rom also - i tested it myself, but not long enough to post any impressions

well, you lost the interest in this rom two versions ago...

btw, both links you posted are for the exact same file (maybe atx team version was customized before, but it looks like now its the official one)

I didn`t want to steal Pocha`s topic so here it is :

Baidu v3 by Bruno (probably Multilanguage):

http://forum.androidsrbija.com/viewtopic.php?f=258&t=3739&p=93087#p93082
Download:

This deserves it`s own topic but I think we should wait for Bruno to do so :)

P.S. It seems that he translated some chinese stuff, too :)
