Why you guys want cm7? So outdated... Guys evolutivon is the way. Move to cm 10.1. It is awesome and its almost bug free :-)

I still don't mind though, as the software itself makes up for it.

It is not that complicated, I succeded to register on Shendu forum. Give it a try, you have easy translation in Chrome, by default.

I tried it last night and here are my findings - 1. You can flash it on 2030 baseband 2. It installs and boots very fast 3. I can't get a phone signal, manual search for networks returns an error I quickly went back to CM10.1 as without use of the phone part of Android the G300 becomes rather... less useful. A mod needs to merge all these CM7 threads.

Network definitely isn't fixed, I tried it myself. The rom however was very, very responsive - the sort of thing you'd expect from 2.3. But without network working it's useless!

So will this mean a downgrade to GB via the IMEI method in order to have this rom working fully? Can you confirm tethering (USB & WiFi) is working? Edited February 2, 2013 by ACS10

Really pleased with it, everything is super fast, no keyboard lags when typing, games work great. The only issue I've found so far is I can't seem to turn on the automatic back light which is pretty annoying. Ben.
