Guest fahad.sagittarius Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 I have a device other than blade which does not have much forum support. Its running on stock ICS ROM. What i want to know is that can i make its stock kernel overclockable? If yes then how? Anybody please suggest? I know its not going to receive JB update. Nor people like KonstaT and burstlam have that device. So i think it will stay on ICS for ever :| Though if possible, I wud like to port JB to my device. But for now, I need to overclock stock kernel. Help plz :-)
Guest gbosh Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) Read this: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1748297 Of course you need the source code for that, every half decent vendor provides it. Edited February 19, 2013 by gbosh
Guest fahad.sagittarius Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 I don't have source code :|
Guest gbosh Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 That sucks, I am pretty sure it's impossible without kernel source :(
Guest android@sam Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Which device you are using?
Guest android@sam Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Then ask the company for the kernel source code under GPL license.
