I think the concept with Ubuntu Phone\Tablet in Padfone2 will be sucess.

For me will be a perfect integration of phone, tablet mode and laptop in one single device.

The last part of Ubuntu official video is pretty interesting, due to phone slide into a tablet! Which look identicle to Padfone2 with Tablet dock. I hope this will be true for Padfone 2 from Asus Update. Meaning eventually PF2 need to unlock boot loader to happen.
