Guest drpsg Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 A few days ago my gmail inbox stopped updated. If i go to all mail new emails are there, but this doesn't alert me to new emails and doesn't save as a default option. I'm using my phone as it was delivered, I haven't rooted/unlocked it. It also seems to be struggling to send emails from my phone, having realised some have been sat there for a long time before being sent. What may be coincedental - when connected to my home network the icon connects as white (not green) but Speed test shows me it's still connected. I've tried altering the number of days to sync my inbox to no avail. I was going to remove the account and readd but my phone said I'd have to reset to factory settings to do that which I was retiscent to do. Any advice? Phil
Guest lohtse Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 have you tried re adding your account details??? had a similar issue and that is what solved it for me....make sure you delete/wipe data for the apps first..
Guest drpsg Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 OK, solved it myself! It seems that if your phone is low on memory, gmail won't sync. it's a pity play and other associated gmail apps use so much space
