Later Edit: Now it worked. I could save the file. After saving i rebooted but can't really tell right now if it is louder or not. It seems so. Thanks for this tutorial. This is a thread about a patch purporting to solve the low volume on ringtones. Almost certainly there are no online updates for this. What else are you trying to update?
