Yeah I saw that one, I actually tried it even though I knew it was an April fools joke :lol:

Oh, and I can't try the mods now as i'm on CM, but i'll see if I can flash a stock ROM quickly to try it out tomorrow.

anyone want to try this, its based on my original systemUI in the first post

it lets you fully customize the status bar (if it works)

you should have an app in the app drawer called status bar greper, use this to customize the status bar

let me know if it works (its not dangerous in any way)

No workie on stock+ r6

Get SystemUI has stopped. It never manages to load any status bar at all, although the settings run. Fiddling with the settings doesn't help.

Bonus: with the systemui reverted to stock, and the greper utility installed, you can toggle the data transfer info in the status bar! lol ;)

i also made a simple boot animation for my self, if anyone is interested i will resize it for the G300

Looks good. I was after a more pro looking version if the android text. I wanted a white one with a cursive font. This one would be a nice change though.

I'd also like an identical static image to replace the Huawei chrysanthemum. I like that. It's just getting old.

EDIT: Nevermind the URL thing, I managed to get it done in the end :)
