Guest exerullz Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) Hello, I've just rooted my Huawei G300 and I`m now searching for a custom kernel which may give me the option to overclock the CPU to 1.22 GHz ( I heard that it's the best frequency ). The questions are: 1. Do I need a Custom ROM for the Kernel to work? 2. What is the best Custom Kernel for my Huawei Ascend G300 ? 3. How do I actually install a Kernel? I know that I must reboot into recovery using ROM Manager, and then I must install the zip from SD Card, is that alright? Thanks. Edited March 3, 2013 by exerullz
Guest kieranswhite Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 no you dont need a custom ROM, just install no frills control from the market after flashing the zip :0

Guest kieranswhite Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 You need to install clockwork mod and root.
