Porting new rom's. How? Which phones roms can im port?

Hello modaco members.

Im buy ZTE BLADE, its great phone, but battery is bad, only 15 hours, but that isnt reason why im here... Good phone, but im dont like any rom from this forum.

Main problem is force close in every HD games, after 2 min gameplay: Assasinss Creed, Asphalt 5, Real Football 2011 and other.

Im want to port tw5 samsung touchwiz or some other rom. Im tried from galaxy gio and galaxy ace, by usual methots: Copy apps, framework, fonts and media, edited build.prop and update.scripts, but allways same problem: Installation abortet or status 7.

Im really need some good porting guide, or some software to port.

Im know all about editing build.prop, but im cant never succes porting.

On old galaxy 3 im ported 2 roms, but with ZTE is much harder!

PM me for question, or post you guide HERE, because, young develepors can read this and start they own porting project.

If there is some good guide, but plz do not copy from xda, or some other forum, no copy, no link, yours guide, and after im will made good topic on modaco about it.

If you want to play HD games on your mobile phone, the simpliest solution is to buy a new, better phone. Don't expect to play this kind of games from the old Blade

By the way, porting a ROM is not so simple as you wrote - you have to make Blade libraries work with touchwiz etc. Also, TW5 doesn't help you with playing HD games, as well as Sense or Blur or any other. Blade is ARMv6, so no chance to play HD games on it

One more thing - on Galaxy 3, can you port Sense to Galaxy 3? I doubt you can, because it's not so easy like just copying some files...

You can only port rom from devices which are armv6 and if you want to know how it is done with our blade,u have to understand the porting tool below

Porting arm v7 rom to rhe Blade is possible but it's hard.

They are a lot of guides on xda to help you and you can ask on xda if you don't understand something
