Guest shootomanUK Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) i have a strange feeling that most orange san diego's start with the same numbers 0132220000***** this is what they use to unlock the device, so if we can work out the algorithm of the last 5 numbers then we may unlock the device. just a thought ;-) Edited March 3, 2013 by shootomanUK
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 Last 6 numbers surely? And yes that matches the start of my number.
Guest shootomanUK Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 Last 6 numbers surely? And yes that matches the start of my number. no 5 numbers, i missed a "0" off the above post lol my imei is 0132220000***** i went back to the post of paul removing the back cover of the osd, there was a QR code underneath the cover and someone scanned it and it was paul's imei his was the same first 10 numbers.

Guest David Mo Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Yes, that explains why I get through to iphone support.
Guest Pondlife Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 You'd think they would know their own phone wasn't an iphone wouldn't you...
Guest David Mo Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 You'd think they would know their own phone wasn't an iphone wouldn't you... It's Orange we're talking about, nothing they do surprises me anymore (having been a customer sporadically over the last 20 years).
Guest codroid Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 So in theory it should not be so hard as it only 5 digits and not the entire IME ?
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 So in theory it should not be so hard as it only 5 digits and not the entire IME ? That's 6 digits not 5, although the 6th digit may be either a 0 or a 1. That just reflects the lack of sales I suppose.
Guest shootomanUK Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Really need people that have unlocked thier device to pm us the used code and imei if they could. I know im asking a lot for people to trust a total stranger with thier imei but its the only way I think to work out the nck code :-/ Edited March 7, 2013 by shootomanUK
