Medion Life P4012

I believe to read that Blade 3 (recovery and custom) ROMs work for Skate Acqua.

And ZTE Skate Acqua is supposed to be same device as Medion Life P4012.

So, am I correct to conclude that ZTE Blade 3 ROMs would work on Medion Life P4012?

(I do not own a Medion Life P4012, but a friend of mine does).

Has anybody tried ZTE Blade 3 ROMs on Medion Life P4012?

Does anybody reading this tread own a Medion Life P4012?

I am with zte v880e, it's the same, every zte blade 3 rom except official works fine :)

I also saw there is an uptade from medion since October 2012. Have you tried it?

I'm pleased qith the phone, but I found sometimes that it gets slow for some time and can't figure out why.

I'd like to update/mod it to improve that.

Have you met similar problems?

sorry for late reaction

no: I never tried to mod a P4012 as it is not my phone (and my friend who owns it could not care less)

still: I think it is a good device which is why I am curious to learn who does what with it

not sure about October 2012 upgrade, I think it was bought later ... would you care posting some details mentioned in 'about phone' settings?

Hi,

In the end, I tried the Update.

I can't see any changes in battery life, usage or stability.

The only improvement for me is the quality of the photo. Probably the firmware didn't used the camera properly. Although, it is still a cheap camera ^^

The update seems fine and the phone still works well.

I found why I had some moments where the phone is slow: it was simply the SIM card that was dirty and made false connexion.
