Browser unstable and crashing a lot.

Hi everybody!

I don't know whether it's just me or what, but I'm getting a lot of crashes using browser and also when using the standard google search widget. I've tried a few roms and I'm struggling to find one that's stable.

I'm currently using Stock + B952 R1

Not overclocking, but have used overclocking in the past. Wonder if the CPU is fk'd. Worth mentioning I can generally play games OK, Ninja fruit crap as it is, for instance.

Any suggestions?

If you have problems with a single app then I doubt that the CPU is screwed.

I'm on Stock+ R4 and find that the stock browser can hang from time to time. Haven't done anything about it (e.g. investigate, try another browser) because I want to go to R6 first when I get a chance.

Maybe update to R6? And/or try another browser?

Reflash ROM and/or wipe all data - it could help.

My Stock+ was a clean install with all wipes but I get browser freezes. I cleared browser cache & data but still the same. As I said if it happens when I go to Stock+ R6 I'll look into it further then.

I got fed up with the browser crashing all the time, so I installed Dolphin browser instead. Seems more reliable...

(using Stock+ B960)
