Guest TimusEravan Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) Hello, I currently have the Nokia N900. The phone is fantastic (it is really a pc:) ) but there is hardly any development going on it. Pity about futher maemo dev from nokia. Now I am thinking of getting the Xolo X900 but I had a question regarding emulators. I use emulators a lot on my phone. Does the X900 support the emulators available on the app store - specifically the Retro Arch? Thanks in advance. Edited March 10, 2013 by TimusEravan
Guest i am not a hacker Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Yep, Retro Arch is supported by this phone and so do other emulators
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 If you're interested in development however you're out of luck with the OSD, we have root but no unlocked bootloader and in all likelihood never will.
Guest i am not a hacker Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Yeah, don't expect any custom ROMs
Guest TimusEravan Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 Great to know that Retro Arch is supported :) Can you tell me the performance about the emulators in RetroArch. I expect that PSOne and N64 wont be good but what about SNES and GBA?
Guest TimusEravan Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Anyone? I need to know this before making a decision :) The other phone I am considering is Xperia U
Guest i am not a hacker Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 I used to have an Xperia U and it is worse for sure. The screen on the Xperia U does have better colours though. It is quite chunky though too
Guest TimusEravan Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 Thanks everyone for your replies. I have placed order online. I got it for 11.9K. :D Is there any case for this phone like the Poetic Slimline for Nexus 7? http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimline-Portfolio-Automatically-Manufacturer/dp/B008NMCPTQ
Guest i am not a hacker Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 No you won't find any of those type for a phone
Guest TimusEravan Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Got the phone last week. The display and performance at this price point is incredible. The call quality is also excellent. Very happy with the purchase :)
