Internal memory increase using sd card?

I know this has been asked before but I'm getting confused.

I've bought a 64gb sd card so could someone talk me through the process of increasing the internal memory by allocating some of the sd card (ie 1gb) to external Menory or even all of it?

Whsts the best way to do this?

He's referring to using some of the sd card to expand internal storage. Partition SD card and use something like a2sd mod. Used to use it on Acer liquid metal.

Sorry - I (mis?)read the original post as looking for a way to increase/supplement memory (RAM) by using some part of the sdcard. :blush:

a2sd or link2sd etc. may be an options but link2int may be better since it uses the (usually?) otherwise unused internal 2GB partition as a link2sd target.

Create an ext partition on your SD card, then install an a2sd script or an app like s2e (this is what I use).

Yeah - just that the 2GB internal partition is most likely going unused otherwise as far as I know so may as well use than before taking space in the sdcard.
