Guest karthiknr Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 I bought my Xolo X900 a couple of days ago. I'm running stock xolo ICS. I've rooted it and debranded it using the AIO tool. Whenever I play some games for about 10 minutes or so,the phone heats up but once I close the games and try opening them again, they don't start at all or they are unresponsive(Especially Beach Buggy Blitz and Riptide GP). What bothers me the most is that over the last few days, the phone shuts down all by itself even when the battery percentage is good enough. Every time this happens,I have to connect it to power and the battery starts charging from low levels or zero. I've also observed that this happens when the phone is quite hot. Also most battery monitoring apps show the health of the battery as dead. Any ideas or suggestions on whether I can get rid of the weird shutdowns?
Guest i am not a hacker Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Try going to settings, battery. Then press menu and choose battery tweaks. Lower the minimum clock frequency or you may want to lower the max frequency too. But definitely change the governor to conservative or on demand, not performance. I had the problem where it heated up during gameplay but the problem went away after some time,.

Guest BlueMoonRising Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 I can't help but think that you've got a duff one, either an overheating handset or a dodgy battery.

I'll wait for a few days and if this continues then I'll replace the battery. One more thing, how do I get rid of social gallery completely?
