Safe to leave Battery to Charge overnight? - How long do you charge it?

So, I wanted to know, How long/ how many hours do you charge your phone for?

And Does anyone leave their phone to charge overnight? if yes, how many hours?

And Is it safe to do this?

Mine stays from 9:30pm to 6:40am

I leave mine overnight and it is perfectly safe. What happens when you charge it is first, the max amount of voltage is applied to the battery cell until the voltage limit is reached in each cell. Then the current is reduced until the battery usage and applied power from the charger is equal. Therefore, the battery remains on maximum. This is definitely safe and that's what is great about lithium ion batteries
