Flyme OS 2.1.2 released for the Meizu MX

Flyme OS 2.1.2 has been released for the Meizu MX, the first official release to be based on Jelly Bean.

The update, which is available to download either OTA or as an update zip (install by copying to the internal SD then turning on the phone with volume-up pressed), also adds the following features:

• Newly designed desktop icons and even more convenient multi-tasking
  
• Added camera quick-start by sliding the lockscreen to the left or right
  
• Added online video service
  
• Added support for Flyme voice messaging.
  
• Added keyboard speech input function
  
• Added file encryption (documents & apps)
  
• Added desktop backup feature
  
• Added photo annotation function
  
• Added new world clock
  
• Added support for the lunar calendar & holiday search function
  
• Added support for mail transfers, automatic compression of images in mail, push mail settings and other mailbox functions

I've installed it on my MX and it seems to be speedy and problem free. :)
