huawei g300 updates problem

Hi all . I'm a complete novice needing a bit of help

phone is huawei g300 4.0.3 (bought used. it was new november 2012 )

i have : "firmware has been downloaded" ,on the notifiation screen

but when i click install,

it goes into CWM- based Recovery v6.0.1.2

with the little green fella horizontal and a 'caution sign'

bottom of screen say's

Finding update package...

E:unknown volume for path ( /HWUserData/HwOUC/update.zip)

E: Can't mount

Installation aborted.

There is a list at the top of screen one being :

install zip from Sdcard

when i go into archives there are four zipped files three the same and one update.zip

could anyone guide me a bit ........... many thanks
