Stock rom and recovery

Helllo,

I would like to restore a stock rom to check is i still have a GPS problem.

Can i flash a stock rom from recovery ?

Can i flash using FTM and keep recovery ?

How find out is i should use "ZTE Skate" or "ZTE V960" rom ?

Your best bet is probably just flashing a stock TPT.

Flashing a TPT doesn't require a custom recovery. The process itself should erase your recovery partition and replace it with the stock Android recovery.

I'm honestly not sure which stock TPT you should flash. You should try to find your carrier's stock ROM and flash that, but it's not the end of the world if you don't.

Maybe someone else will know better the difference between roms and will know what one is better to use.

TPT is for stock rom i think because it request to have Update option in About in Settings.

My curent custom doesn't have it.

You dont need to update anything on a stock rom from settings^^

Dont install something with this option with your stock rom.

You can flash a Stock Rom with recovery or you can restore a backup from CWM. Only use tpt if nothing else works. It is dangerous

But before you flash/restore Stock try the GPS Patch.

When i check what is inside the zip file it's not the same at all.

I dont know if you can flash other stocks via cwm but you can flash this stock here via cwm:
