G300 can't make or receive calls

Hi,

Bought a G300, bought a SIM unlock code off ebay, and updated it all the way to ICS via the official updates on the phone, but it kept the low ringing volume issue, so I flashed with CM9. All seemed fine until an attempt to call out - it won't allow it. Same on receiving calls also. It does receive texts ok though?! I flashed CM10.1 onto it but still no luck.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Edit: reflashing the official vodafone ics rom seems to have fixed it - will leave it on. Unsure why it happened!
