Different DPI or UI

Seeing as you can hook up the OSD to a HDTV, I was wondering whether the OSD could be modified to be given a tablet DPI so that everything looks smaller or if there was a type of launcher which gives Android a desktop-like UI.

Go launcher HD for tablets. You have to get the apk because it's not available on the play store for mobiles.

But it's free so no piracy involved

No luck with that app, automatically redirects you to playstore to download mobile version

Try any old launcher like go launcher ex but in landscape with the grid size on custom (something like 10x10).

Honeycomb launcher by team syndicate should do the trick as well
