[Guide][MTK] Increase Speaker Volume of your Phone

Are you dissatisfied with the speaker volume of your phone ?

Is the speaker volume of your phone is very low ?

You can increase the speaker volume yourself, it is very simple [MTK Chipset Only]

Here are steps:

1. Install Mobileuncle MTK Tool

2. Open Mobileuncle MTK Tool and select Engineer Mode

3. Select Engineer Mode MTK

4. Swap to Harware Testing

5. Select Audio

6. Select Loudspeaker Mode

7. Here you will find Max Volume Value 128, Change this to 145 and press set.

8. You can set this value up to 160 but above 150 is not recommended else it may damage your speaker.

9. Now you can close Mobileuncle MTK Tool.

Now you can check the volume of your speaker and feel the difference.

I have tested this method on my Lava Iris 501.

I did that on Initial days of phone by accessing MTK Engg. mode

you can type the following code to access MTK engg. mode

*#*#3646633#*#*

there are options to set volume for earphone, and speaker separately.

Warning: MTK Engineer Mode is not supposed to be a user end interface, Changing any value In-correctly may damage your phone or disable/damage its functionality.

Yes and this tool and code both will work with MTK Chipset only.

This is for back side speaker (loudspeaker). You can increase volume of ear speaker also, one more option ia given there in settings.

I seriously need to increase the earpiece volume of my iris 501 which i bought yesterday.. It is 3 times lesser than my galaxy s2 volume and i am HATING it.

Could you please guide me on how to increase the earpiece volume that is near the front camera? This is killing me :(

Is the sound so worse compared to the galaxy s2 earpiece volume?

At step 6, select Headset Mode and increase Max Volume value.

Hi Mr. kamal 

I have Honor 3c H30-U10    in engineering mode when i change the values of audio settings it shows

"settings succeeded"  but when i recheck them they r on same values before setting even after restart. 

Kindly advice me what to do 

cell is rooted with vroot (chinese version)
