Guest mrvlhs Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Hey guys, I've been struggling for a while to find Windows 8 drivers for our beloved Skate, since I connected it to windows and it's not getting automatically recognized. Does any one know where to find them? Thanks!
Guest omegavesko Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Just install the ZTE Handset Driver. I'm on Windows 8 x64 and it works fine.
Guest mi nombre Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Omegavesko, do you recommend Windows 8? I'm now on Win 7 64 bits

Guest omegavesko Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Once you overcome the different start menu - it's wonderful! This. Also, you can use Start8 if you don't like the Metro UI. Set Start8 up properly and you'll never have to look at the new start menu again.
Guest mrvlhs Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Thanks guys, i don't know what happened but I left it plugged in for a couple of hours and it finally installed the drivers itself. Cheers! PS: PM me if you need help setting up a start menu for win8 ;) Edited April 27, 2013 by mrvlhs
Guest HeikoH Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 Yes, Windows 8 is pretty amazing at installing (most of) the drivers itself, but it still has some flaws. Last time I checked, USB tethering and my printer refused to work with it.
