TWRP Recovery for LAVA Iris 501

TWRP is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization.

It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash.

Installation Procedure:

• Download TWRP Recovery Image File from HERE
  
• Copy TWRP Recovery file to SD card.
  
• Install Mobileuncle Tool MTK - Link is HERE
  
• Open Mobileuncle Tool MTK>Update Recovery>Choose recovery_TWRP_by_akash.img
  
• Reboot mobile when it ask
  

I have tested this with my LAVA Iris 501 and found working fine.

Kamal ji.....I backup my stock rom through twrp to install another custom rom

It failed so I restored it but it is stuck on boot animation...plz tell me what to do?

I have already posted firmware of IRIS 501 ICS and Jellybean both in Modaco. Search and do the needful.

Should I go ics or jb???any comments

I suggest to go with ICS because JB has better features but it will spoil the life of battery and in six months you will require a new battery. Also JB has bug in compass, it will show wrong direction. Few more bugs are there.

Yes you can also flash via many other tools like SP Flash tools etc. but it may only be available for stock roms.
