g300 deleting emails in bulk

Hi, my phone's configured to receive my Virgin emails (not sure if I'm using right words here :unsure: ). Once I've read the messages on my laptop I really don't need to see them again on my phone but there doesn't seem to be the facility to delete them in bulk. I therefore have to check each one in turn (most of the time 'catching' them so they open....grrrrr) then delete them all.

Have I missed something or is there any way round this please ?
