I just find the bootanimation.zip and bootanimationex.zip on my phone and then just simply back them up and replace them with a set I want.

For me they are found in system/media... also I just removed the irritating shut down animation too ...

Is there a way to completely remove boot animation from CM 10.1 nightly?

I want to see what my phone do while boot.

Similar, when I boot into Zentyal (an Ubuntu derivative) on my PC and press Esc while boot, I can see what's happening.
