Guest mack123 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 Does anyone have solved the batery problem? Mine only lasts for one day
Guest dalyer Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 In my experience about 1 day is normal with 3G enabled. You might get more if you switch to 2G. And if your device/battery is a year or more old the you might need a new battery for better lifetime.
Guest mack123 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 @dalyer, thanks. I have selected option: " Use only 2G network " , on my phone. Lets see how baterry responds from now on.
Guest dalyer Posted November 20, 2014 Report Posted November 20, 2014 What happens? Downloads (albeit slowly) for me.
Guest mack123 Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 Guys, is normal while i'm texting sms it converts it to mms, aldo i have multi-part sms disable? I dont want it to convert to mms, what should i do the evoid it? Thanks.
Guest dalyer Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 My recollection is that I couldn't stop this happening with the stock SMS/MMS app so I switched to a 3rd party on where I could - e.g. Textra, Handcent etc.
Guest mack123 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I have this rom about 3 weeks and i'm a little disappointed with it. Its my first rom and it starts to be like de huawei VDF b961. It reeboots and has a lot of lags and i have just a few apps. I expected more from this rom.
Guest dalyer Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Any chance your reboots are due to an unofficially unlocked ICS bootloader?
Guest dalyer Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 To unlock the bootloader or network unlock the phone?
Guest dalyer Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 DCUnlocker can do a network unlock or a bootloader unlock. If you are getting random reboots then switch to 2G and if they go away then almost certainly your bootloader was unlocked unofficially and is the cause of your reboot problems. I doubt that the reboots are down to this specific ROM to be honest.
Guest dalyer Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 And you're still getting reboots? In that case it's not the bootloader. But if there were random reboots with this specific ROM then I would have expected somebody to report them already and I don't think that they have.
Guest mack123 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 It had rebooted 4/5 times, its not a big problem, ram is. In average i have 80% used.
Guest dalyer Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 GB ROMs are more suitable to this hardware in my experience. GBXTREME worked well for me. It's pretty low spec hardware to be honest so it'll always struggle.
Guest jokny Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Is there any way to add a contact without syncing it to Gmail?
Guest jokny Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 I got used to this rom. It's good. But there is Slim KitKat: SlimKat version already. Unfortunately G300 is left behind again. There is SlimKat for Huawei Y300, G330, G510: http://www.modaco.com/topic/368306-rom444all-slimkat-90-unofficial-29122014/ My guess is that it should not be very hard to port it for G300. Can I have any words from someone experienced in ROM building/porting?
