Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Google Music All Access, US only, other countries "soon". Bloody typical. So, that'll be 3 yrs later when all the lawyers finally sort their sh*t out then?
Guest Chrisund123 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Can you save some cash and just flash the AOSP ROM to a regular sgs4?
Guest Michealtbh Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 This is amazing and we're only halfway through!
Guest Sere83 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 jesus, google are really tearing apple a new one. S4 is nice but still over priced. BUT WHERES THE UPDATE NEXUS 4 THOUGH?!! That was on my hit list...
Guest Sere83 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 No new version of Android either? Wow, this was disappointing, not even a point update to android which means still no fix for bounce back issue on my nexus 7. While maps and google now and music updates are nice and seems like there are some good new dev tools, the lack of OS update and no 32gb Nexus 4 was kind of lame to be honest.

Guest Chrisund123 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Was about to say, this is only day1 lmao. Hopefully there will be stuff to come tomorrow...
Guest Sere83 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 you guys realise I/O lasts for 3 days right? Yeah I know but there are no other presentations/keynotes according to the schedule... https://developers.google.com/events/io/agenda
Guest KiaOrana Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Paul, what are the chances of being able to use the music streaming service outside of the US ?
Guest tillaz Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 I would say the Next version of android will be shown late October. its only been 6 month since 4.2 was announced... so its not that bad really.

That would be consistent with the reports of manufacturers and carriers complaining about the high frequency of Android version releases. Slight shame it was a Galaxy S4 Google edition they announced. An HTC One Google edition would have been tremendous! Though I guess the Google / Samsung collaboration may have been a bit political (following the rumours of a schism)
