Guest NorwegianLabel Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Monitor mode is a state in which your wi-fi radio listens for incoming traffic. You can use this mode to easily crack WEP passwords. I have seen monitor mode in nexus devices. Is this possible to do? (Source) http://null-byte.won...ternet-0139261/ It uses simple aircrack technique to find passwords which i once tried on ubuntu ages ago. This is totally useless specially when passwords is encrypted with 32 and above bits. This will requires a LOT of time and in the end it might be unsuccessful. and as for that link, same technique is ported on android smartphones for portability thats all.
