How can i root the San diego phone?

Well i tried to enable the SD card but i found out that i have to root the phone first.

I tried to root it but the message does not change eve after 5min.

What can i do?

Have you had a look on your phone? You should get a message asking you to restore.

ups sorry I forgot to mention that.Yes i got it and click restore but nothing happens.

finally i got it.i think it was the patch.Got the sd working.How much capacity can it work? 16GB or more.At the moment i have only a 2GB microSD.

Certainly works with a 32GB Micro SD card, I regret not trying a 64GB one but then again the wife wouldn't have been happy(especially if it didn't work).
