Ascend G300 mounting as a Media Player?

Hey guys when running CM9-R10 My phone always mounts as a media player, this is real awkward as it means not all files show up only media related ones :/ any ways I can get around this, apart from using CWM USB mount?

Well, that's what I'd expect the USB transfer mode called "Media Transfer Protocol" to do. It's the standard in ICS and above for all devices that can support it.

Switch it to USB mass storage in storage settings.

Oh fml I feel so stupid...i've been looking for the settings under storage, and just realised that you must press the menu key -facepalm- thank you xD.
