Guest Raihan42 Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 (edited) Good news! (sorry if I'm late but I haven't seen this topic yet) looks like chrome is working... Well the beta version. I've been using it for a while now and it seems quite stable Edited June 2, 2013 by Raihan42

Guest Raihan42 Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 And is this without the gpu libs ? Yes. My phone is not rooted of modified in any way
Guest Rattonboy Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 He is telling the truth I installed it yesterday and works! I don't have root
Guest i am not a hacker Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Works for me but I find it slower than the normal chrome which came default on the xolo ics
Guest Ashbeard Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Next Browser is better than Chrome IMO. Smoother and works in current form.
Guest Rattonboy Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Next Browser is better than Chrome IMO. Smoother and works in current form. Same i prefer it!
Guest Hasan217 Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Yeah! Next Browser is better. Have been using since it was in beta stage.
Guest i am not a hacker Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 I find next browser uses a lot of battery
Guest Raihan42 Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 I find next browser uses a lot of battery Noticed that too
Guest Roger Barnett Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 I've got the beta installed which works fine. But it wants to update, should I allow?
Guest Konstipated Kiwi Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Forgive my ignorance (and I've tried using the 'search' facility) but what is the nature of the issue with Chrome working/not working? I've been using the one that came with Xolo ICS for months and not noticed any problems.
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Forgive my ignorance (and I've tried using the 'search' facility) but what is the nature of the issue with Chrome working/not working? I've been using the one that came with Xolo ICS for months and not noticed any problems. I think the latest patch has got it working again. They broke it on Medfield at least a few versions ago, the only two ways it would work was to not let it update or if you already had to reinstall the Xolo update.zip which would have gone back to the working version. The other way was to root and install option (38) Borqs W32T GPU lib's from the AIO tool in which case updates didn't break it again.
Guest DaveSimonH Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I gave up on chrome when it stopped working. I still use the stock browser mainly, and my secondary browser is the Dolphin Broswer. Main use is for the BBC iPlayer, set to desktop mode it plays the videos pretty well.
Guest Konstipated Kiwi Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Thank you, BlueMoonRising. I think I have probably never upgraded the version that came with Xolo ICS so never noticed.
