(help) Issues at staying connected to network provider (vodafone)

Hi, I'm having some issues with 4.0.3/4.0.4 Roms, and sometimes (a lot of timer) happen that lose completely connection to provider, and my phone says that have network, but can't make calls, send sms, and receive either.

Can someone help me?

I've seen me forced to go back to 2.3.6 (it's fast, but don't like it)

Does this have something related with baseband?? HSPA:11 or HSDPA:9??
