[OFFTOPIC ] Mainstream china phone spreadsheet

A lot of MTK6589 phones arising last few months. Probably there will be many more of these cheap and well made devices.

To make things easier, I made a list of "mainstream"

Quad core chinese phones with 1Gb ram, 4.5" - 5" screen, $160 - $260

I feel that this is what an average user is looking for.

Making a list based on wider criteria would be an overkill.

This list is in form of a spreadsheet in

google docs format which allows inserting comments. Feel free to add your comments regarding errors, improvements and adding new items. I hope it will be helpfull to others as it is for me in search for a "perfect" smartphone.

Spreadsheet consists of next columns:

Name

Alias / Chinese name

Screen Size

Resolution

PPI

Battery size/Extra battery

Cameras size

Pro/Extra

Contra

Clone names (chinese clones of this phones)

Website (manufacturer`s)

Forum website

Review website

Video link

It is still a work in progress, so don`t

bitch much about empty cells.
