Guest dbius Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 Hello. I am satisfied with Vodafone 975N but I'm missing root. Someone managed to make a "root" on this device? Hi! I'm interested in that too. Though On xda i found 2 thread about it, but i wasn't able yet to root the phone, because i stuck at a point in the tutorial. The flash tool software gave me error at one of the last steps. You can see there, but I didn't receive any answer yet so i am waiting now. Guest dbius Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 I rooted my vodafone 975N with method from your second link yesterday and everythink is OK. But thank you for answer. Yesterday evening it worked for me too but only with a newer version of Flash tools. I tried other methods too but none of them worked.

Guest Gynekolog Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 You must have CWM recovery. Languages: Czech, Deutsch, English (GB), English (US), Polski, Turkey.
Guest hutchandyg Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 I am too tired of this shitty Stock ROM. Anybody have link to Custom rom for Vodafone Smart III? Maybe somebody knew the way how put CWM to it?
Guest Gynekolog Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 What you want without CWM? CWM -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332783 16. Back to droid tools. reconnect your device to USB , debugging should be enabled, too. switch to "root, backup, recovery" tab in MTK Droid Tools.select "to choose the boot.img" and press on "Recovery and boot". select your backup boot.img and recovery, img. MTK droid tools will patch boot.img, so you obtain permanent shellroot.(optional) a window will pop-up and ask you, if you want to install CWM-r. i cannot tell you if that will work, but you can try it, since you backed up your recovery before. )
