I think the main issue is you what not have much room after splitting the screen.

That screen shot must be of a phone with a bigger screen or tablet or a higher resolution. I'm afraid that's not possible on the g300.

Someone was doing a paranoid android port a while ago and by default the settings menu looked like that. If you can alter the DPI on PACman try it for the settings.apk.
