Orange Sanfransisco ZTE Blade Android 2.2 Swedish spring

I have a completely frozen SF (old version using 2.2 and Swedish spring ).I wish to defreeze it and make it work again as before.Could some one guide me how I can do this without dumping this beautiful creation of the ZTE family. I thought that screen was gone. But later when I booted it using power, vol down and home button the menus were functional( the Q & A session) .So I sincerely believe the touch screen to be still functional.
