Change type of G300 to desire?

Hiho,

I am using the stock rom+ and I am lucky with it - so far. Just one small issue, I like to change the type from G300 to a desire, cause of the google market...

Is there any way to solve this problem in an easy way?

I am NOT at all sure about this, I did NOT try this, I am only assuming this

but there are some lines in build.prop file:

ro.product.model=U8815

ro.product.brand=Huawei

and maybe there's the thing you need BUT I REPEAT
