Guest sedj Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Flash the "slim ROM" its not laggy its like stock ICS but stripped down http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=519072
Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) Just try flashing Stock GB/ICS to your phone. Make sure you put a middle file in there. http://www.solidfile...m/d/e37af95ed3/ http://www.solidfile...m/d/5febd75d7b/ Here's three of mine. You need to first put the middle file on your sd card in "dload" directory. Then you force the update by vol + up vol down - and pushing the power button. After this you place a stocked rom "update.app" on your sd in dload. Then force update again by vol + up vol down - and pushing the power button. And hopefully your be on a stocked rom again. I would recommend trying the gingerbread first. But try all them different different middle files. Edited July 6, 2013 by sharkyo01
Guest Naikkon Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 is this safe ? just download this and instal using CWM ?
Guest waqas95ali Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) If you want to make the process easier and less time consuming you can check out Tillaz's Atomic Mod ROM. It works on 2030 Baseband so you can flash it like any other ROM in CWM. Here's the link: http://www.modaco.co...l__ atomic mod In my opinion this is the best GB ROM you will find. Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 is this safe ? just download this and instal using CWM ? What method are you referring to?
Guest Naikkon Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 can somebody make a youtube tutorial on how to do this ?
Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Just force update B952 Put the rom on to the SD card in a folder called "dload" Hold down volume up and down then press the power button. This will force update your phone with B952. It will take no more then 5 minutes. Then you have stock ICS. It will remove cyanogenmod 10.1. CWM and what ever custom firmware you have on your phone. Guest Naikkon Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 sharkyo01 thx for your help but i whant to instal stock Gingerbread not ics. this i know how to do but GB i don't
Guest dalyer Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 What about existing guides to downgrading to GB - e.g. http://www.modaco.com/topic/362677-how-to-downgrade-from-b952-to-gb/

So makes it hard to advise you. I would agree with the degrade method just posted but it is very risky due to the fact your zeroing out your IMEI . If it was me try and degrade to B936 then use the official huawei downgrade kit to get to b895. Edited July 10, 2013 by sharkyo01

Sorry - I wasn't fully aware of that risk. But is that not easily rectified by restoring the IMEI backup using 5irom or is that sometimes hit and miss?!?
Guest Naikkon Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 how can i try to downgrade to B936 ? my ics is B952.
Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Are you on an official stock rom now or still on a custom one? Sorry - I wasn't fully aware of that risk. But is that not easily rectified by restoring the IMEI backup using 5irom or is that sometimes hit and miss?!? It is not all it seems. I did some very heavy testing on this and there are so many problems which are left over because of it. So now a lot of people agree with me after finding out the issues not to use it at all. I can't remember if this one also comes with risks but perhaps it would allow you to go from your current B952 to B936/B937: http://www.modaco.co...13/page__st__60 and from there to GB B895 using the official Huawei downgrade? http://www.huaweidev...softid=NDY4ODE= I'm a bit lost at this stage with the various procedures that require you to change/zero/restore IMEI and which ones risk screwing it up without any way back... Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) I would not touch anything thing that removes your IMEI. Because whatever happens its the re stamping of the IMEI which causes the problems. Basically your IMEI is hard print on your phone you erase the hard print and all these programs do is soft print the IMEI back. If that makes sense in simple terms. I would try middle files and any other possible way to degrade before even thinking of erasing your IMEI Edited July 10, 2013 by sharkyo01
Guest dalyer Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Sorry to piggyback on this but by "middle file" I presume you mean the middle file in the official Huawei downgrade package? Sorry - I read through the thread and it answers this... Would this be of any use to the original poster? http://www.modaco.co...-from-recovery/ Edited July 10, 2013 by dalyer
Guest sharkyo01 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) There are many middle files some done via Huawei and some by the Vodafone development team. Some work better then others etc etc ... It is all a bit of luck. I have 3 different ones. It is a file you flash before you flash the ROM hence the term 'middle file'. But a lot of the ROM's released have middle files. Just finding them :P http://www.solidfile...m/d/e37af95ed3/ http://www.solidfile...m/d/5febd75d7b/ There is my 3 the one by it self works best :) Edited July 10, 2013 by sharkyo01
