HELP ME ! I BROKE my Huawei Ascend g300 SCREEN ...

Hello Everyone,

I was walking today and dropped my phone. It landed face first ( the phone laid flat on the ground with the screen touching the ground ). The bottom section of the screen where the capacitive buttons are is cracked.

The buttons are responding perfectly well and there is nothing wrong with the display. The screen is just cracked.

Can anyone please tell me what kind of replacement the phone needs. Do I need to replace the whole LCD or just the digitizer ?

And also is the digitizer just the touching part of the screen or is it the 'real' display part ???

Please Please Please help me.

P.S : I searched this forum and found another thread but I don't know if mine is broken exactly like his.

If his screen still works, he'll only need a digitalizer.

@Waqas Is the actual display still functional? Is it only the glass on top that's damaged or the screen inside? If the screen inside is fine, you'll only need a digitalizer.

Yes the whole screen works perfectly.

And yes only the glass on top is damaged.

So I'll only need a digitizer ?

Can you explain what it is. I'm confused... Is it the touch screen or something else ??

The digitalizer is the glass on top of the screen. Its the layer that detects touch input and protects the LCD screen underneath. You'll only need a digitalizer, which should be cheap. £15 max.
