Is the Grand X really that bad?

Hello all, been looking at this phone as I think its time I upgraded from the trusty ZTE Blade, but the few user reviews I can find (mostly on virgin site) seem to slate it?? Most of them report having multiple replacements (3 or 4) and them all having issues with crashing and not being able to end calls etc.

So I thought I would ask users here how they have been getting on with it? Is it just a case of a few people with bad phones have bothered to write about it?

The phone seems great apart from that im quite tempted otherwise, it really is a shame if true :(

for me it was the text(s) and emails or lack of them I was getting that drove me away in the end.and ZTE have abandoned it, so no help from them.
