I have to say this ROM (lewa os) looks very nice http://bbs.v5zn.com/...-19046-1-1.html i have just installed it and it seems very snappy with a nice UI

I installed this ROM, can not get the play store working (tried different GAPPS but don't really know what I am doing).

Can confirm compass not working.

Oohh that looks like a nice place to be :).

Regarding play store.. I assume you have tired flashing playstore.. Have you tried installing playstore as a normal apk? And then making it a system app?

I tried all of the above and none of them seemed to work. I have deodexed the ROM and the play store still crashes :(

I can not get the play store to work. Tried several versions of the apk. Although it loads up and I sign in ok, it just says no connection with a retry button which I have hit many times.

Bluetooth works, I get good mobile network connection (always have had tbh). GPS not great, not tried any tweaks at all, might be slightly better than the other roms I have tried but hard to tell.

Well the only thing I can think of is that as a Chinese ROM it's not allowing play store to work. Are there any permissions you can check? Or maybe change the footprint in the builprop.

I'm just guessing though.

are dual sim still working well with this rom? , how to install this rom in vowney v5? Please help.

Install CMW following the guide and flash the rom as usual having backed up and wiped. Don't know about dual sim.

Problem is you will not get the Google market working (if you do please let us know).

Looks a lot like the Baidu Rom's on the G300, which were fantastic, So did you get the Playstore finally working?

ON NEEDROM THERE IS ANOTHER ROM FOR THE V5 CALLED S4UI CLAIMING GAPPS INCLUDED . AS ANYHOW TESTED IT ?

I've seen this but not tried it, I'm using Tillaz's ROM at the minute and I'm having no problems with it, I don't want to end up like with the G300 where I ended up flashing a new ROM every other day, unless I get problems or a new 4.3 or updated Official ROM comes out I'm happy as I am.
