Using G300 as an mp3 player

I'm going to Turkey for a week and as I have no mp3 player so I am going to use my phone.

I would appreciate some feedback on how long the battery could last as an mp3 player. Do I need to switch it to aeroplane mode etc to get the best battery life as I wont be making calls etc.

All positive comments will be very much appreciated.

Why don't you just try it before you go?

Airplane mode on will use less battery than when off.

There may be some other things you can tweak or switch off to save battery.

6-7 hours but only if you not use often the screen ON.

I guess turn screen brightness way down for when it does come on.

And maybe pare back the installed apps to the bare minimum and run something like Greenify to further reduce battery usage?

I will say this, use Winamp on your PC and G300. Even if you don't use it as a player it is the best way to transfer your MP3s to your phone because it puts your music in neat folders according to their album names.
