USB tethering under Linux

Is there something special to do to use tethering via USB under linux ?

no the phone should just conect and u dont need drivers as android is linux

It should work, Android's native tethering supports it AFAIK. Some third party tethering apps also have a Linux (usually .deb) client, though these aren't as common.
