is superboot rooting safe?

Hi

I‘m new here and have been reading through the pinned topic about superboot rooting the padfone 2 and can't quite get if it's safe or will cause bricking?

I love my padfone 2 but absolutely hate ads in browsers etc, this beeing the main reason I'd like to root my device. Currently using adblockplus, but only works on wifi and with proxys etc on unrooted phones..

Can I keep default rom etc and just get root access safely by using the superboot method?

Basic questions I guess, but don't want to break my beloved phone..

Any help answering my questions is greatly appreciated!
