Cyanogenmod MMS.apk on Cloudmobile

Hy!

I use the stock 4.1 ROM (rooted). I would like to use the Cyanogenmod MMS.apk instead of the stock MMS.apk.

I used the Acer Tool 0.3 for R/W permission on the filesystem. I can overwrite the stock apk, but when I restart the phone, the Message app force closed.

Is there any chance to run this on Cloudmobile with the stock JB ROM?

I know there is Handcent and other apps, but I like the stock style, but need some extra functions.

Your ROM must be DEODEXED for MMS.apk from CM to work.

Sorry I'm newbie for android. I have to flash my phone with a deodexed ROM or it's possible to deodex my phone somehow?

You can flash Cirrus rom . It's already deodexed. For deodexing you must us dsixda kitchen..and it's a bit complicated.

Thanks for the reply. I installed Handcent SMS with iOS7 skin.

I deodexed my rom and tried CM10 MMS apk but it force closes..so i don't recommend to install it.
