Guest denzele Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Well this is been on my mind for some time..I found that launching camera sometimes when you really need it fast becomes very annoying since it takes up to 15 to 20 sec. in my case..I tried various camera apps out there but with not much difference in the end.. The other thing is focus issue..like installed yesterday camera jb+ or something like that launches really fast but taking pics is nightmare really. At the moment using Camera zoom Fx app not as fast opening but taking pics is ok. Anyway any tips to speed up launching of any camera app ?
Guest kyan31 Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) To lock in memory, add this to your build.prop along with the process name: sys.keep_app_1= To find the process name, go to data/app, find the camera, and copy its name. For example, the process for camera ICS is: com.moblynx.cameraics So the full build.prop line would be: sys.keep_app_1=com.moblynx.cameraics Edited 2:10 Edited August 8, 2013 by kyan31
Guest rhen Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 I just start my frequently used apps and send it to the background with the home button once I boot my phone. I never quit this apps, only send to the background. It works for me most of the time. (I use camera from Y300's original JB ROM on CM10.1 Nightly)
