MTP Problem

I just rooted my phone yesterday. I was happy,very happy,and then I said what the heck Imma download a new ROM.So I took an USB cable,one end into pc,other in the ZTE Blade 3..it shows the mtp but when I open it....0 folders.I can see I have files via file manager on phone but pc doesnt see them. I need help please. Also I cant enter recovery mode...with either fastboot or holding keys I get stuck at logo. Help is seriously needed. I have all the drivers BTW.
